Extended Hours For Same-Sex Marriage Licenses
The city clerk's office in Portland and a number of other cities and towns will be open early on the first day same-sex couples can get Maine marriage licenses.
In Portland, the clerk's office will be open --very-- early.
The Portland city clerk's office will be open from 12:01 a.m. to 3:01 a.m. on Saturday, December 29th.
Municipal offices in Augusta, Brunswick, Gardiner, and Hallowell will be open to issue marriage licenses that morning as well.
