MOSCOW - People living in the Moscow area will get their first look Monday night at plans for a 398-million dollar wind farm.
The Maine Department of Environmental Protection is holding the first of two public hearings on the project.
Bston-based First Wind has plans for a 62-turbine wind farm. Bingham and Moscow have agreements with first wind that will pay the communities thousands of dollars for 20 years.
Selectmen say the money will help lower taxes. The meeting runs from six to nine p.m. Monday at Moscow Elementary School.
