EDDINGTON - Emergency service providers in the area received special training today on how to prepare them for violent situations.
The Eddington Fire Department hosted a four-day intensive training program for EMS.
The class teaches defensive tactics for confrontational or violent encounters on the job, aiming to educate safety personnel on how to responds to assaults and dangerous situations.
Today was the second day of the course. EMS will continue to train through Monday.
Erin joined the ABC-7 and FOX Bangor news team in February 2012. She was born and raised in Presque Isle, Maine where she attended Presque Isle High School.
