CMP Building $17-Million Project At Livermore Falls
Livermore Falls - Central Maine Power Company has started work on a 17-million dollar expansion project at an electrical substation in Livermore Falls.
The new facility is part of CMP's one-point-four-billion dollar Maine Power Reliability Program.
It will connect five 115-thousand volt transmission lines to help supply power to towns in Androscoggin, Franklin, Kennebec and Oxford counties.
Contractors are currently clearing trees and vegetation and crews will begin installing substation equipment this winter.
