With Winter Approaching, Driver Safety a Top Priority

With winter quickly approaching, and already seeing a few snow days, its important to pay some extra attention when on the road.

Officials say you should take a look at your car and make sure it is in good condition before the winter months come.  That way you can make repairs before driving conditions worsen.

They also say its important to remember to drive slower in rough conditions, as well as learn what to do if your car skids on black ice.

James Bair of Bair's Driving School says you should steer in the direction of the skid, and make sure both feet are not on either the break or the gas.
