Governor Lepage Cancels Meeting Due to Tracker

AUGUSTA - A scheduled meeting in the capitol, today, focusing on putting politics aside, was called off because of an alleged tracker.

Governor Paul Lepage cancelled an event this morning, after being supposedly followed by a hand-held camera man.

The Governor's Office says this has happened many times before, and according to a press release, this so-called political operative is paid for by the group Maine's Majority, to tale the Governor at all public events.

The Governor is challenging Democrats and says, "if Democrats truly want to work together, they will publicly call for an end to this distasteful practice. Actions speak loud the words."
