The Maine Technology Institute is awarding nearly one-and-a-half-million dollars to more than two-dozen Maine companies.
The 28 firms range from aquaculture to forestry and precision manufacturering, according to an MTI press release.
The awards include almost 500-thousand dollars to Fluid Imaging Technology, based in Yarmouth, and more than 218-thousand dollars to Pika Energy of Gorham.
All the grants require companies to match or exceed the grant amounts.
