Science Partnership Gives Rural Maine Students Hands-On Learning Experiences

SCHOODIC POINT - A New University of Maine partnership is enhancing science education for rural Maine students.


The Maine Physical Sciences Partnership kicked off last week on the shores of Schoodic Point with a large team of science teachers and students from grades 6 through 9.


In the photo above you can see them studying the geology of the scenic spot. The partnership looks to provide more learning opportunities like this.


It's part of a multi million dollar grant from the National Science Foundation.
