In Ellsworth, Everybody Eats

At one church in ellsworth, thanksgiving never ends. Once a week, St. Dunstan's on State Street provides free meals to the community.

Every Monday for almost four years now, Everybody Eats has served between 80 to 120 meals in the basement of St. Dunstan's. Over time, the program has grown, representing more than a meal for the hungry, rather, a community gathering place.

Organizers say none of this could go on without volunteers, many of whom are from Downeast Horizons, a program for adults and children with developmental disabilities.

The meal runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and is available to anyone interested.
