Stolen Jeep Recovered

Bangor - Police recovered a stolen Jeep during a routine patrol on Saturday.
An officer was observing a Hammond Street building known for drug activity when a Jeep Wrangler pulled into the lot. The officer ran the plates on the vehicle after the driver went inside and was informed the Jeep was stolen. The driver of the Jeep, Zane Harmon, 26, of Bangor, initially stated he could show proof of sale but after searching bags and small personal safes it became apparent Harmon did not possess the document. Harmon was arrested and transported to Penobscot County Jail where he remains charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Schedule W drugs.
