BANGOR - The man accused of breaking into the home of an elderly woman while she slept in her bed will serve 18 months behind bars.
Wayne Sanborn plead guilty to charges of burglary and theft. He was accused of breaking into the home of a 78-year-old woman back in December.

Children of the 78-year-old victim asked for a heavier sentence, saying not only did he steal family jewelry from their mother, but that she is no longer able to live in her home because of what happened to her.
Meanwhile, another burglar was sentenced Tuesday. Craig Franck will serve 4 years, plus 3 years probation for nearly a dozen counts of burglary and theft.
