Weekend Motorcycle Ride for Nichole Cable
GLENBURN - A local man is holding a benefit motorcycle ride this weekend in memory of slain Glenburn teenager, Nichole Cable.

Timothy Munson of Glenburn is organizing the ride this Saturday which will go from the Glenburn Elementary School to Old Town High School -- benefiting the Nichole Cable Memorial Fund at People's United Bank.

Money raised will fund the construction of a permanent memorial near the beach at Lakeside Landing.

Munson says the ride will show Cable's family the continued support from the community.

"Glenburn is a very tight knit community," says Munson. "My family's been here 35 years and this is probably one of the worst tragedies that the town has seen."

The ride is happening this Saturday, June 15th. All riders are asked to meet at the Glenburn Elementary School. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and costs $10.

Anyone with questions can reach Munson at 217-0535.
