Fish River Canoe Race Making Comeback

Fort Kent - A popular Maine outdoors event is making a comeback, some 20 years after it stopped. 
The Fish River Canoe Race from Eagle Lake to Fort Kent is returning, as the Fort Kent Lions Club River Run.  The race will begin at eight a.m. on June 8th in Plaisted.  There will be 17 categories in the race that starts at Lakeside Drive in Plaisted and runs 13 miles, to the Fish River Bridge near the Fort Kent Blockhouse.
