UMaine Holds Plant Sale

ORONO - If you're looking to add a little color to your yard this weekend you may want to check out the University of Maine's plant sale.

UMaine's Horticulture Club members and greenhouse students are offering hundreds of plants they have raised for the 4th annual Black Bear Beauties sale.

It started today, and will continue through the weekend from noon to four in the Lyle E. Littlefield Garden on campus.

Shoppers will find a variety of annuals and herbaceous perrenials, as well as wood species. All come with recommendations for care and suitable growing environments.
