Bangor Fire Department Hands Over Check
The Bangor Fire Department has done it again, keeping with tradition they lead the state in raising the most money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Today, fire officials presented a check to MDA for over $20,000. A large portion of the money raised was done so from their fill the boot campaign on Black Friday.
The money goes towards a number of causes such as medical costs, sending children to summer camp, and research. Officials say the Bangor Fire Department has lead the state in raising the most funds for years now and they are proud to have them as a partner.
