Pink Tulips Beautify Bangor, Raise Cancer Awareness

BANGOR - If you drove through downtown Bangor today, you may have noticed an array of pink tulips on display. Adding color to the city, all the while raising awareness for a cause.

The flower garden was planted last fall by members of FUSION: Bangor at the intersection of Harlow, State and Park streets as a way to beautify the city for the Downtown Proud initiative.

The tulips were provided by Eaton Peabody, in support of the Maine Cancer Foundation's "Pink Tulip Project."
