High School Students Wreck on I-95

BANGOR - An accident on Interstate 95 backed up traffic for morning commuters.

At 7:50 Thursday morning, a two vehicle wreck reduced traffic to one lane after the Hammond street Northbound on-ramp off Interstate 95.

According to the Maine State Police, a Toyota Prius was merging onto the interstate, and yielding to traffic, when this Honda element struck it.

The driver of the Prius was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The drivers of both vehicles are teenagers and were on their way to class at Bangor High School.
