Maine Veterans to Receive Homes Built with Home Depot Grant

AUGUSTA - Construction of several new homes is underway for Maine veterans and their families thanks to a $125,000 grant from the Home Depot Foundation

Bread of Life Ministries and First Lady Ann LePage broke ground on the Cony Village Veterans Housing Project in Augusta today.

The development will offer 20 fully custom two- or three-bedroom, two-bath homes for veterans at a lower cost. One of whom has already been pre-approved for a house.

Other veterans are encouraged to apply for the program, which includes free credit counseling and financing options.  For more information, click here.
