Runners Take Part in "Healthy High" Race

ORONO - A yearly race partly to kick off spring, but also to send a good message and positive influence was held today at the University of Maine.

The 6th annual Healthy High began at 4-20 p.m. today, with hundreds of runners taking part in the 1 mile fun run, 5-k, or 10-k.  The race originally started as a healthy alternative for college students each year on April 20th, but has now grown into a widely popular race in Eastern Maine.

All age groups participated in the race...some first timers, eager to take on the course.

And several runners were out showing support during today's race...many of whom, sported their Boston gear.
