St. John Plantation - An exhaustive overnight search by Maine Game Wardens saved the life of a Massachusetts man, who encountered trouble while on a snowmobile ride near Fort Kent.
A friend of 64-year-old Paul Lessard called wardens last night, after the Milford, Massachusetts man failed to return. Rescue crews traveled over 100 miles through single-digit temperatures and snow squalls very early this morning while attempting to locate Lessard.
They finally found him at 7:45 a.m. He'd been trapped under his sled in a ditch -- suffering from hypothermia. He was taken to an area hospital, and is expected to be okay.
