Augusta - The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife welcomed a new Game Warden this morning. Captain Chris Cloutier was sworn in during a ceremony held this morning.
Captain Cloutier became a Game Warden in Southern Maine in 1995. In 2009, he was promoted to Game Warden Sergeant in Greenville.
"Major Cloutier has experienced each level of the Warden Service and will be a valued member of our leadership team," Commissioner Chandler Woodcock stated in a press release. "I look forward to working with him in his new capacity."
Captain Cloutier is a graduate of Unity College where he received a degree in Conservation Law Enforcement. In addition, he attended the First State Law Enforcement Basic School and the Maine Warden Service Academy.
