DCP Midstream Pulls Plug on Proposed Searsport Tank

Written by
Searsport - After months of back and forth meetings between DCP Midstream and the citizens of Searsport opposed to the building of a 22 million gallon propane tank the company has decided to pull out of the proposed project.
ABC-7 and Fox Bangor spoke with Roz Elliot, a spokesperson for DCP, she tells us that she is sorry things went this way.  Elliot added that she had hoped to make money for the town of Searsport and that as a result of this process her company will no longer pursue any business in Maine.
Our reporters are speaking with members of *Thanks but no Tank* the group leading the charge against the project this afternoon, we will have their reactions tonight at 6, 10, and 11 on ABC and FOX.
