75 Dogs, 17 Birds Removed from Wilton Home
WILTON - Nearly 100 pets have been removed from a Wilton home. Department of Agriculture Conservation and Forestry officials say the 75 dogs and 17 birds were sick and not being cared for properly.
They say a majority of the dogs were very thin, covered in feses, and were sufffering from chronic flea infestations, and ear and eye infections.

The animals were taken to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, but cannot be adopted yet because they are considered to be evidence in the case.
