Newburgh - A close call in Newburgh this afternoon after a plane flipped over on a private runway at Miller's field.
The accident occurred earlier today and was called in by a passer by.
It involved a pilot attempting to smooth the runway on Miller's Field... the FAA was contacted, but no official report will be filed.
Officials say the cause was either a strong gust of wind or a ski being caught on the runway.
Penobscot County sheriffs assisted workers in flipping the single engine plan right side up. No one was injured in the event.
