Man's Truck Falls into Hermon Pond

HERMON- A Glenburn man's truck now rests at the bottom of the Hermon Pond after it fell through the ice this morning.
Robert Sinclair of Glenburn attempted to remove his ice shack off of the Jackson Beach Road boat launch.
 
Sinclair's truck began to fall through the ice, as he managed to get out in time.
 
Hermon Fire, Hermon Rescue and Levant Fire responded to the scene.
 
The Maine Wardens say recent weather is changing ice conditions.
 
Sinclair is okay.
 
He has thirty days to remove the truck from the pond, which includes divers hooking up the truck with cables.

He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington where he received his B.A. in Journalism. Clay has worked at Fox National News in New York, WTIU in Indianapolis and the Big Ten Network.

In his free time, Clay is a firefighter for the Holden Fire/Rescue Department in Holden and is an avid hockey fan.
