Residents of RSU 19 Gather to Gain Support for Loan
NEWPORT - Once again voters in RSU 19 will be heading to the polls this week to vote on whether or not the district should take out a multi-million dollar loan.
Supporters gathered in Newport waving signs and trying to gain support on the issue.
They believe the RSU has exhausted every other option possible.
Some residents in the area are concerned that if this vote does not pass, they will need to look at other options when it comes to where their kids go to school.
The vote this Friday will be third time voters will take up the issue.
