The U.S. Attorney's Office said Amy Lynn Holmes, 46, will spend two months in jail.
Authorities said Holmes lied when she claimed to be living alone and not receiving any financial income. In fact, she had been living with her husband who provided her with money, vacations and vehicles.
Officials said she fraudulently collected more than $96,000 in benefits from 2004 until 2016.
Along with the jail term, Holmes will also be on supervised release for three years and must also pay back some of the money. A little more than $33,000 in all.
