Closing arguments in vehicular manslaughter trial in Rockland Tuesday

ROCKLAND - The future of a Tennessee truck driver is now in the hands of a jury.

Randall Weddle, 55, is accused of causing a crash in the town of Washington two years ago. An accident that killed Christina Torres-York of Warren and Paul Fowles of Owls Head.

Weddle is charged with two counts of manslaughter, driving to endanger and aggravated OUI.

Both sides presented closing arguments Monday in Rockland.

If the jury finds him guilty, he'll face up to 30 years in prison on manslaughter charges alone.
