Two men arrested in Saint Albans on drug charges

SAINT ALBANS - Two people are facing charges after a drug search in Saint Albans.

Police went to 13 Gould Lane just after 6 a.m. Tuesday.

 

They arrested the home owner. Keith Gould, 35, on charges of possessing fentanyl and and suboxone.

 

They also arrested Nicholas Withee, of Etna who is currently on probation in Penobscot County on domestic violence related convictions.

 

Two children under the age of ten were at the residence and were released to family members.

 

Police said the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation related to heroin and fentanyl being sold in the Somerset County area along with recent drug overdoses in the Hartland and Pittsfield area.

 

They said once the drugs are further tested and weighed additional charges against Gould and others may be forthcoming.
