Bangor Police Department offering reward for information in homicide

BANGOR - The Bangor Police Department is now offering a reward in the murder investigation of Israel Lewis.

Law enforcement officials are looking for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for his death.

 

Last Wednesday a friend called police after looking through a window and seeing Lewis was on the floor and not answering. Lewis had been staying in a boarding house on Second Street.

 

When police got to the scene Lewis was dead, and determined his death a homicide.

 

Detectives said they will continue to follow up with leads and are interviewing witnesses.

 

The investigation is on-going. We will update you as learn more.
