BANGOR - The one new years resolution people always say "I'm going to lose weight."

 

Well a new years resolution doesn't have to be the only time you can make a new resolution.

 

You have 365 days to make healthy changes. Those changes can be simple to make life easier on you.

 

Owner of Sunshine's fitness studio and wellness center Sunshine Gannuccelli said "Just wanting to be able to be healthier to play with your children to be able to get down on the floor and get back up with ease. Once you find your why then it makes it more important to you and then you can constantly remind yourself why you're doing what you're doing."

 

She says talking about your goals to people or even writing it down you tend to be more successful in carrying out your thoughts and goals.

Shonna Narine joined the ABC7 and FOX22 team in August 2017. Originally from Long Island (although she hides her accent for TV) she's excited to see what Maine has to offer.

She graduated from Five Towns College in Dix Hills Long Island where she anchored for their TV Club, and had her own radio show called "All Access Entertainment."

She won an outstanding achievement award and graduated on the dean's list.

Prior to graduation Shonna interned at News12 Long Island.

Shonna comes from a big family. With three older sisters, her parents, and six nieces and nephews there's never a dull moment when she's around them.
