NEW YORK (ABC NEWS) - They're calling it an attempted terrorist attack this morning in New York City.

Four people were injured when a men set off an explosive device beneath the Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square.


The area was packed with morning commuters at the time, but fortunately only 3 people were injured along with the bomber and none of the injuries are considered life threatening.


Police said the man had strapped the homemade device to his body with Velcro and zip ties.


There's no motive for the blast.


Police stated the attacker is a 27 year old man from Bangladesh who has been living in the U.S. for seven years.
