Holiday at the Hill House

BANGOR - The Bangor historical society is holding their fourth annual holiday event at the Thomas hill house.

Each room in the house is decorated by area businesses to show off their decorating skills in hopes to win the "Holidays at the hill house people's choice award."

Executive director of the Bangor historical society Melissa Gerety said "A really nice opportunity to celebrate the season and for people who don't get a chance to visit here in the summer to see our regular exhibits to just kind of see the house all decked out. We say we're decking our halls and that's what we do."

Admission is five dollars and gives you a ticket to vote for your favorite room.

Additional tickets are one dollar. All proceeds benefit the mission and programs of the Bangor historical society. click here to find out the days of the event.
