Drug bust in Vassalboro ends in three arrests

VASSALBORO - Three people are facing charges following a drug bust in Vassalboro.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said it and Augusta police have been investigating the sale of drugs in Kennebec County.

 

The investigation led them to a home in Vassalboro yesterday where they carried out a raid.

 

Sarah Fuschwanz, 33, was arrested after she drove away from the home.

 

A search of the car turned up 80 grams of crack cocaine, 10 grams of heroin, powdered cocaine and other evidence including thousands in cash.

 

Fuschwanz is now charged with aggravated drug trafficking and violating the conditions of her release.

 

Her two passengers were also arrested. Andre Fields, 51, of the Bronx, New York is charged with aggravated trafficking in crack and heroin. Tania Murphy, 33, of Hallowell was arrested for an outstanding warrant for violating the conditions of her release for a previous offense.
