Local boy donates lemonade stand earnings to Children's Miracle Network

BANGOR - One boy's earnings from his lemonade stand is now being given to help those in need.

Cooper Wren worked hard over the summer selling cookies and lemonade stand. This is his second year having a lemonade stand but this time he wanted to give half of the money he raised to the Maine Children's Miracle Network.

Cooper said "I sold lemonade and cookies and ice tea for fifty cents each race and I just wanted to do something with the money."

His goal was to raise a $1,000. He exceeded that and is now donating $700 to the children in need.
