The storm system that moved in overnight brought a little snow to some areas. It also brought strong wind gusts that knocked out power to more than 7,000 utility customers.
More than 6,700 are out in Central Maine Power's territory and more than 1,000 outages are reported in Emera Maine's area.
Most of the outages are reported in Penobscot and Hancock counties and more are down through the Augusta area.
Of course, this comes following a storm that knocked out power to well over 400,000 people.
We're expecting more strong wind gusts as the day continues.
The utility crews say they'll continue to work on outages throughout the day, but if they top 40 miles per hour the crews can't be sent up in the buckets to fix the lines.
