They created a giant American flag on the hill in front of the football field in remembrance.
The flag is made up of 2,977 miniature american flags in honor of every American life lost on that tragic day.
Junior John Snyer spearheaded the effort.
Snyer started the organization Young Americans for Freedom at the high school which took part in this nationwide "Never Forget" project.
He was around four-months-old on September 11th 2001.
"Not many kids my age know what happened on 9/11," says Syner, a member of the Class of 2019. "We don't really remember it, and America changed that day and its important to know why."
Members of the Young Americans for Freedom club and the Hawk Battalion helped create this giant American flag.
The project was completed around 6 p.m. Sunday night and took nearly two hours to set up.
