Southwest Harbor drug bust comes after investigation

SOUTHWEST HARBOR - Several people are facing drug charges following police raids this morning in Southwest Harbor.

Maine Drug Enforcement Agents and local police have been investigating local drug activity and decided to search two homes on Marshall Brook Road.

 

Six people were arrested after authorities found 20 grams of heroin and 25 grams of crack cocaine.

 

The suspects include, Torrie McIntosh-Figueroa, 25, of New York City, Alyssa Penney, 20, of South Portland. Shannon Waas, 30, of Southwest Harbor, Scott Cote, 30,of Southwest Harbor; Paul Cote, 32,of Charleston, and Zachary Elkins, 25,of Bass Harbor.

 

They're all either charged with trafficking in heroin or crack cocaine.

 

Police also arrested Jordan Anderson, 26, of Bangor after she fled from the home and refused to stop for police. She's charged with eluding an officer and driving to endanger.
