Multiple crews responded to the new site of the China Hill Restaurant on High Street around 11 p.m. Tuesday night.
The building was formerly Betty's Hilltop House.
The call came in around 10:50 p.m.
Crews had to shut down High Street for a few hours while firefighters were working to contain the flames from all sides of the building.
High winds made putting out the fire more difficult.
The kitchen area looked to have the most amount of damage.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire and there were no reported injuries.
No word on a cause at this hour.
