Council prepares to hear public thoughts on marijuana laws

BANGOR- The Bangor City Council is preparing to discuss an issue that's been ongoing since election day --- marijuana.

On Monday, the council will meet to brainstorm regulation and distribution within the city, and it will also be a chance for the public to voice its thoughts.

It is still legal for people 21 and older to possess 2.5 ounces in Bangor, but there has been a moratorium on facilities looking to provide a place to use the drug since November 8th.

The meeting starts at 5:30, and will be streamed on the local access channel, as well as online.
