Brian joined WVII & WFVX as Sports Director in February of 2009, before becoming the Executive Producer in January of 2013. He grew up in Eastern Maine, graduating from Bucksport High School, go Golden Bucks! Brian then moved on to the University of Maine where he graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

After spending so many years working in sports the decision to move into the world of news presented different challenges and more variety on a daily basis. Brian hasn't completely left the sports world behind, hosting Black Bear Insider a show highlighting the University of Maine's athletic programs, as well as providing color commentary for Maine Football TV broadcasts and hosting the Coach Cosgrove weekly radio show.

In his spare time Brian enjoys spending time with friends and family. Escaping to Cape Cod in the summer and taking in a good movie at the local theatre whenever there is something worth checking out.

Watch: Defense Attorney Breaks Down Dube Murder Trial

Bangor - The State and the Defense have each come to rest in the murder trial of Kyle Dube.  Closing arguments are set for Friday morning, after that the fate of the 21 year-old accused of killing Glenburn teen Nichole Cable will be in the hands of the jury.  Defense Attorney Jeff Silverstein has practiced law for 25 years trying more than 20 homicide cases in his career.  He joined us in-studio to break down the key points of the trial and what jurors are faced with deciding.

Carmel - The latest reports from the massive I-95 pile up in Carmel telling us that at least 75 total cars were  involved many of them destroyed, amazingly no one lost their life in the wreackage.

In the wake of yesterday's event there still remains a great deal of work to be done.
