Maine Educational Opportunity Center workshops, The Essentials of College Planning.

Sumner Adult Ed, 1888 US Highway 1, on Thursday, February 15 at 1 p.m.

WHO WE ARE:
MEOC is funded entirely by the U.S. Department of Education. The program helps qualified adults make the
transition towards a college education. MEOC, which is housed at the University of Maine, provides assistance
to adults living in Maine and helps them go to whichever college or university they choose.

OUR WORK IN ACTION:

MEOC successfully placed 1,073 Maine adults in different colleges last year.
How to Participate
The starting point for all MEOC participants is The Essentials of College Planning, a FREE interactive workshop that outlines the four steps in the college
process: admissions, financial aid, career planning, and study skills. The workshop lasts approximately 2 – 3 hours. Pre-registration is required.

Bangor, ME-- St. Joseph Healthcare, a Covenant Health member, will host a Registered Nurse (RN) Job Fair on Thursday, February 15 from noon to 7:00pm in the lobby of the hospital’s main entrance.

The hospital is actively recruiting nurses, of all experience levels, for full-time, part-time and per diem shifts in the following areas: Cardiac Progressive Care, Home Health Care, Neurology and Progressive Care. RNs are invited to attend the job fair, complete an application, interview with a hiring manager and tour the hospital. In addition, a talent acquisition representative will be on hand to answer questions about compensation, benefits, work schedules and more.
