Shauna Shames to Speak in Bangor

A Lecture on Women, Minorities, and Millennials in Politics

Bangor, ME: Shauna Shames, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department at Rutgers University, will present a lecture on March 5, 2018, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Crofutt Community Room at the Bangor Public Library. Her talk is titled, “The Great (Political) Divide: Why Women, Minorities, and Millennials are Underrepresented in Politics.”

The lecture will be followed by a reception with light refreshments. Dr. Shames latest book Out of the Running: Why Millennials Reject Political Careers and Why It Matters will be available for purchase and signature. The library is located at 145 Harlow Street Bangor, ME 04401.
