It's been a busy legal day for Justin Bieber.
The Canadian pop star, 19, has pleaded not guilty to charges of DUI, resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired license, according to The Associated Press.
The charges stem from an incident last week in Miami in which police suspected but did not charge the singer of participating in an illegal street drag race with R&B crooner Khalil Amir Sharieff.
Bieber is also expected to surrender to police in Toronto today regarding an alleged assault involving a limousine driver, according to CBC News. Toronto police tweeted Wednesday afternoon that they can not confirm the news, while police had no comment when ET reached out.
Later, Bieber's manager Scooter Braun tweeted:
i ask people to be kind and hope for the best in people. not assume the worst. thanks— Scooter Braun (@scooterbraun) January 29, 2014
