Dick Van Dyke Rescued from Car Fire

Legendary actor Dick Van Dyke is said to be doing well after being rescued from a car that caught fire along a California freeway.

The 87-year-old's wife tweeted video of the accident along with the good news that Van Dyke was apparently unharmed after being pulled from his vehicle on Monday when it caught fire along the 101 Freeway in Calabasas.

"He's fine thank God," posted Arlene Silver with footage of her husband speaking to the California Highway Patrol as well as video of the scorched sports car.

According to the Los Angeles Times, authorities responded to the scene around 2 p.m. where they found Van Dyke in the company of two off-duty nurses.

REPORT: Man Dies at Olivia Newton-John's Home

A man was found dead today at a Florida home reportedly belonging to Olivia Newton-John and her husband John Easterling.

According to a police report obtained by ET, authorities were called to a Jupiter Inlet residence on Monday afternoon where they discovered a deceased 42-year-old white male, who had sustained a gun shot wound.

The Palm Beach Post reports that the home belongs to the actress, 64, and her Amazon Herb company founder husband, 61. According to the police report, the owners were not home at the time of the incident.

The unidentified man was working on the property as a contractor, according to the police.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
