New Music: 3 MUST-BUY Albums Of The Week

1. Miley Cyrus-'Bangerz' (RCA Records)

Tabloid regular and queen of "twerk" Miley Cyrus is gearing up to release her highly anticipated fourth studio album, Bangerz. In the weeks leading up to its release, Cyrus received much criticism for her antics, let alone for her stripped-down video, Wrecking Ball.

The music video currently holds a VEVO record, being the fastest music video ever to reach certified status, with over 100 million views in just 6 days. In an effort to shed her former squeaky clean Disney-tween image, Cyrus has gone to the extreme to bare everything, literally.

Bangerz pulls out all the stops with a jam packed group of A-list producers including Mike Will, Pharrell, Future, and will.i.am . Pop legend, and no stranger to headlines, Miss Britney Spears joins her on the track, MS, with Cyrus showing us her rapping skills, or lack thereof, it still serves as a must listen on the album. 2. Panic! at The Disco-'Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!' (Atlantic records)

Pop-electro band Panic! At the Disco is ready to release their fourth coming studio album since 2011,Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! Staying true to the band's sound, the album offers all the modern synthesizers, disco beats, and vocal range from the bands front runner, and once "emo-heartthrob" Brandon Urie. The lead single and music video Miss Jackson ft. Lolo, directed by Jordan Bahat, shows a very cool Urie in an throwback Las Vegas motel, with echoing vocals, it lends to a slightly noir feel. The album features a slew of high-energy songs, and the most introspective songwriting from Urie to date.

This is Gospel, the second single starts off with an underlying heartbeat, layered with synthy vocals that captivates listeners with a mixture of drum beats and poppy rhythms. The video features scenes with Urie ultimately held against his will from a hospital bed with doctors pinning him down, to ropes entrapping him, and finally buried in a coffin filled with water while singing "Don't try to sleep through the end of the world, bury me alive, 'cause I won't give up without a fight." The overall sound of this track is catchy, original, and serves as a good pairing with Urie's edgy and seemingly angry lyrics. The band has kept busy having just ended a two month North American tour also titled Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! and the Fall Out Boy Save Rock And Roll Arena Tour 2013. 3. Amos Lee-'Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers Of Song' (Blue Note Records)

After a decade-long career, there is no stopping Amos Lee. In his new album, Lee teamed up with producer Jay Joyce, to record his fifth studio album Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers Of Song, in a studio that was once a church in East Nashville. In his first single, The Man Who Wants You, serves as an upbeat, feel-good track, with a twangy country sound, retro R&B backup vocals, and fun piano riffs. Mountain's essence as an album is a straddled combination of acoustic instruments, folk and country wrapped up into one big Americana package.

Lee will embark on a fall 2013 tour, starting November 5th donating a portion from each ticket to Musicians On Call, a non-profit organization that brings "live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities." Lee brings along some star power on the album from vocalists like Alison Krauss and Patty Griffin, to instrumentalist Jeff Coffin of The Dave Matthews Band.
