'DWTS': Liz Berkley Nabs First Perfect Score

On Monday night, eight remaining couples gave it their all in pursuit of Dancing with the Stars' coveted mirror ball trophy.

Making season 17 history, Elizabeth Berkley and partner Val Chmerkovskiy took home the first perfect score (three tens) of the season with a Cha-cha-cha inspired by a dark period in the actress' career – the years following her much-mocked cult film Showgirls.

On the other side of the spectrum, Corbin Bleu and partner Karina Smirnoff fell far from their place at the top of last week's leaderboard when they took a chance on a Viennese Waltz with a Game of Thrones twist. While fierce and fiery, the routine was maligned for its lack of steps required of the dance and garnered a 23/30 (8,7,8), the same total as low-scorers Bill Engvall and Emma Slater.

The couple later made up for the lost points when, in the competition's switch-up challenge, Corbin and Karina took the top spot, as did Amber Riley and Derek Hough for their marathon-style group contest which tested the dancers' ability to adapt to random, on-the-fly changes in music and choreography.

When all was said and done, producers had a big surprise for the remaining dancers. Due to a glitch in last week's show regarding call-in numbers, all eight couples were spared from elimination this week.

By the numbers, here's how all of the contestants stacked up in week six (from best to worst):

-Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy: 30/30 (10,10,10) Cha-cha-cha

-Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd: 28/30 (9,10,9) Tango

-Amber Riley and Derek Hough: 28/30 (10, 8, 10) Samba

-Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani: 27/30 (9,9,9) Quickstep

-Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Sasha Farber: 27/30 (9,9,9) Foxtrot

-Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke: 25/30 (8,9,8) Paso Doble

-Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff: 23/30 (8,7,8) Viennese Waltz

-Bill Engvall and Emma Slater: 23/30 (8,8,7) Tango

Tune in to Dancing with the Stars next Monday on ABC when all eight couples return for another round of performances!
