Brant Daugherty of Pretty Little Liars fame kicked off the season 17 of Dancing with the Stars with a charming cha-cha-cha alongside pro partner Peta Murgatroyd. How did the first dance compare with their celebrity competitors? Read on to find out!
With a combined score of 22 (out of a possible 30), Brant's unusually high numbers for episode one launched the couple onto the top of the leaderboard, but it wasn't long before Glee star Amber Riley and her partner Derek Hough blew the competition out of the water with their cha-cha-cha earning an unheard of 27/30 (9,9,9) for their first spin on the ballroom floor.
On the other end of the spectrum, Bill Nye the Science Guy made a less-than-impressive (albeit entertaining) debut in week one with 14/30 (5,4,5) for his cha-cha-cha with pro partner Tyne Stecklein.
